man in the fridge

you came along

in a time

i have never known

on a place

i rarely go.

while our eyes

met

i gave you a smile

short one

but enough

to last a lifetime.

one last call

for the rains

as i thread

the shadows back.

but when i wake up

you are nowhere near.

all i had was silver

while i was dreaming

of golden rains

under the grayish skies.
